Angela Davis

Her activities culminated in her becoming at the age of twenty-six, the central figure in a trial of far-reaching significance. She portrays the overwhelming feelings of hopelessness and oppression amongst her fellow black prisoners, which she tries to transform into constructive anger and questioning of the society which put them in jail.
